So the new plan involves maybe no more chemo. Next Monday I get a CT of the shoulder with contrast and meet with the oncologist. Wednesday I get an MRI of the shoulder and meet with nobody. (I’m sure a follow-up will appear in my future.) Maybe the next thing really is the surgery? In any case, all that time I was going to be spending as an inpatient next week getting infusions… well I’m not.

I suggested today that maybe we skip round 3 of chemo and go straight to surgery, and my oncologist said, “Hm. That might be a good choice. Let’s talk to your surgeon.”
